How to Combat Aging

Science has proven that eating a diet high in nutrients and low in calories help reduce the signs of aging and increase life span. Oxidation is one of the most important contributing factors to aging. Oxidation occurs when cells are damaged by free radicals. Antioxidants protect the body from free-radical damage.

Increase antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables such as: apples, blueberries, grapefruit, oranges, pears, raspberries, strawberries, beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, celery, leafy greens, and onions.

Increase antioxidant herbs and herbal teas such as: cayenne, garlic, ginger, ginkgo, green tea, lemon balm, milk thistle, oregano, peppermint, rosemary and turmeric.

Decrease animal fats and dairy products
